The AQS StoxPlus is a modular fixed-installation smart gas detector from AQ Sense GmbH (Germany), built on EC Sense sensor technology. One housing accepts factory-calibrated plug-and-play smart sensor heads across four detection principles, so a single platform covers toxic, flammable, CO₂ and VOC monitoring.
- Sensing technologies: solid-polymer electrochemical (19 toxic gases + O₂) · catalytic / MEMS pellistor (flammables, 0–100% LEL) · NDIR infrared (CH₄, CO₂ up to 100 %vol) · PID (VOCs, resolution down to 0.001 ppm)
- Measuring ranges: per sensor variant — from low-ppm ranges up to 100 %vol (94 orderable gas/range variants)
- Response time: T90 < 30 s (catalytic / NDIR / PID variants); electrochemical variants gas-dependent
- Outputs: simultaneous 3-wire 4–20 mA with fault-current signalling + RS485 Modbus-RTU (sensor status codes) — PLC / DCS / SCADA ready
- Power: 12–24 V DC, < 2 W
