SCBA service & inspection in Malaysia — what we check on your SCBA

Every SCBA set that comes to our Nilai workshop goes through the same inspection: face mask and backplate, first reducing valve, lung-demand (LD) valve, pressure hose, gauge and whistle, cleaning, and a POSICHECK fit test of the face mask. Cylinders are checked separately (below). We service the SCBA makes we supply — Drager, MSA, Honeywell, Sekur and FENZY among them.

SCBA cylinder hydrostatic test — 1.5× working pressure, up to 450 bar

SCBA and EEBD cylinders (composite and steel) are hydro tested at our Nilai workshop. The test is done at 1.5 times the cylinder's working pressure, up to a maximum of 450 bar, and comes with a test certificate.

EEBD service and airline escape set service

Emergency escape breathing devices (EEBD) get a hood inspection, valve test and hose check. Airline escape sets get the same face-mask fit test as an SCBA plus a check of the auto switch-over valve. Escape sets we supply include the Sekur EEBD and the MSA S-CAP escape hood.

Breathing-air compressor service and breathing-air quality test

We service breathing-air compressors (models in our catalogue, including L&W) — service and maintenance including synthetic oil change — and offer a breathing-air quality test for compressors and SCBA cylinders. Breathing airline trolleys are serviced too.
